This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Talencer AI Interview (the "Service") collects, why, and what rights a Client or Candidate has over it. It applies specifically to the Service, a standalone AI-assisted candidate screening product operated by Talencer ("Talencer", "we", "us"), separately from, and in addition to, the general Talencer Privacy Policy that covers the recruiter marketplace. See also the Terms of Service for this Service.

This Policy covers two kinds of people: the Client (the person or organisation with an AI Interview account, writing roles and inviting candidates) and the Candidate (an individual a Client invites to complete an interview).
For a Client's own account data (name, work email, phone, company, billing details), Talencer is the data controller. For a Candidate's personal data collected through a role a Client created, the Client is the data controller and Talencer processes it on the Client's behalf and instructions to deliver the Service (the same allocation of responsibility set out in Section 5 of the Terms of Service). If you are a Candidate with a question about how your data is used, your first point of contact is the Client who invited you; Talencer will still help directly on request (see Section 16).
A Candidate's interview answers are recorded as audio and transcribed to text. In some jurisdictions, a voice recording can be treated as biometric or otherwise sensitive personal data, subject to extra legal protections. Talencer does not perform voice-print identification or any other biometric matching on a recording; it is used only to produce a transcript and, from that transcript, a score. As set out in Section 1 and in the Terms of Service, it is the Client's responsibility to give Candidates any notice, and obtain any consent, that recording their voice for this purpose requires under the law that applies to that Candidate.
We do not use Candidate recordings, transcripts, or reports to build a profile of a Candidate beyond a single role, and we do not sell Candidate personal data.
Where a lawful-basis framework applies, Talencer processes Client account data to perform its contract with the Client (delivering the Service) and, for marketing and analytics on the public site, with consent collected through the cookie banner described in Section 12. Talencer processes Candidate personal data as a processor, on the Client's documented instructions and lawful basis (see Section 1). Talencer relies on legitimate interest for the technical and integrity data in Section 2 needed to keep the Service secure and reliable.
Generating questions, transcribing answers, and scoring interviews all involve sending Content to third-party AI providers under contract with Talencer, currently including a large-language-model provider (for question generation and scoring) and a speech-to-text and speech-synthesis provider (for transcription and the interviewer's spoken voice). These providers process data solely to return a result to the Service and do not use Client or Candidate content to train their own general-purpose models under Talencer's agreements with them. Talencer remains responsible for these sub-processors' handling of personal data under this Policy.
Talencer is based in the United Arab Emirates, and the Service's infrastructure and sub-processors may be located outside the country where a Client or Candidate is based. Where personal data is transferred internationally, Talencer takes reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive a level of protection consistent with this Policy, including through contractual commitments with its providers.
Recordings, transcripts, and reports are retained for as long as the Client's account or the relevant role remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised in the ordinary course of business. A Client can close a role or contact us to request earlier deletion of a Candidate's data, subject to any legal retention obligation. Client account data is retained for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure for the same purposes.
Access to the dashboard and to interview recordings requires authentication, interview links are unique per Candidate and expire after a fixed period, and the microphone connection used for live captions is authorised with a short-lived, single-purpose token that never exposes Talencer's own provider credentials to the browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Talencer cannot guarantee absolute security, but works to apply security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data described in this Policy.
Depending on where a Candidate is located, they may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, or to receive a copy of it in a portable format. Because the Client that invited a Candidate is ordinarily the data controller for that Candidate's data, the fastest route is usually to contact that Client directly, or through the "manage your data" option on the interview link where offered. A Candidate may also contact Talencer directly at the address in Section 16, and Talencer will either action the request or pass it to the relevant Client, as appropriate.
A Client can review and update most of their own account details from the dashboard. For a request to access, correct, export, or delete Client account data that isn't available there, or to close an account, contact us at the address in Section 16. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request, and may retain some information where required by law or for the purposes described in Section 8.
The public marketing pages for the Service use cookies and similar technology for essential site function and, where accepted through the cookie banner shown on first visit, for analytics (to understand how the site is used) and session-replay tooling (to see where visitors get stuck). Declining sets a preference cookie that blocks non-essential trackers on later visits. The authenticated dashboard and the candidate interview screen do not run marketing or advertising trackers.
The Service is intended for use by working-age adults applying for or hiring for a job. It is not directed at children, and Talencer does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the minimum working age recognised in the jurisdiction where they are located.
Talencer may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active Clients before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, consistent with Section 16 of the Terms of Service.
